About Us

The Blackman Youth Football Association (BYFA) calls Blackman High School’s football field “The Inferno” home. Since its inaugural season in 2012, the Blackman Youth Football Association has provided children ages 5-12 with the opportunity to participate in football and cheerleading programs. As a nonprofit organization, it is BYFA’s goal to develop and prepare today’s young athletes for what lies ahead in sports and in life. Guided by a volunteer board of directors, BYFA has positioned itself to be a premier football and cheer organization in Murfreesboro for years to come.

BYFA takes great pride in ensuring that all aspects of an athlete’s experience exceed expectations. From providing high caliber equipment and coaching, to creating memorable game day experiences, no part of the season is overlooked.

Since its inception, BYFA has been a member of the Tennessee Youth Football Association (TNYFL), which has now grown to include 13 communities across Middle Tennessee.
